Dry Wall is Up

Finally, progress is being made on my master bedroom. The contractor showed up with the dry wall. He worked with my husband for about 3 hours and then left. My husband talked him into leaving all his equipment so my husband worked all day and the entire room has been dry walled. Tomorrow, he will start taping and sanding. The contractor will be back on Monday.

If the contractor can come back and texture, then I will be happy, because the rest can be done by my husband and me. I went and bought 2 shades of beige paint for the bedroom. I think I am going to rag it so I hope the colors will look OK. I went ahead and bought 2 gallons instead of quarts. I am also thinking of painting a window with ivy on one of the walls. It will be fun.

Since I was at Lowe's buying paint, I picked up a gas grill for a gift for my husband. Next week is Father's Day and our old weber grill was on its last leg. Luckily my sons were with me so they helped lift it into the van. We ended up giving it to my husband early as he would have found it in the garage. Sons and dad put it together and we broke it in with salmon and chicken.

My husband seemed to like it and said that it was really quick and easy to use.
