Police Gear

In a couple of weeks, we will be heading down to San Antonio, TX for a family reunion. I am excited to see my cousins as I haven't seen them in a very long time. My one cousin , an officer for the Dallas police force and also ex-SWAT member will be one in particular that I would like to see. It was really interesting talking to him over the years as he had quite a few stories to tell about his time on the force. One of his jobs was to provide protection for the elder President George and Barbara Bush and then for Hillary Clinton when she was first lady. One of the police tv shows reenacted a kidnapping case that he had worked on as a detective and he got to do the narration on the case. Then there were his stories about breaking down doors with a battering ram and tear gassing a drug house when he worked on SWAT. Really fascinating stuff.

When I came across this LA Police Gear website, it brought back memories of my cousin and his work with the police force. They sell clothing like 5.11 Shorts, accessories such as holsters and footwear also. It's a site founded by LA police officers but they sell to the general public too. Their site needed more links so I am going to provide them with one here. Anything to support officers or even ex-officers.
